Look how proud papa Steve Jobs is!! Yes, he's holding the much-anticipated thinnest notebook ever -- the MacBook Air! Would you believe that it's only three-quarters of an inch thick at its thickest point?? It's so thin that it fits in a manila envelope! In fact, in unveiling it, Steve Jobs retrieved it from the said envelope =) MacBook Air features a 13.3-inch screen and a five-hour battery. It does not have an optical drive for playing CDs and DVDs, but one is available as an option for $99. Boohoo! But, Apple has equipped it with remote software that lets users play DVDs and CDs on another computer as if they were on the notebook. Now that's neat! LOL! And Apple has gone environment-friendly too! MacBook Air uses a mercury-free display. Its circuit boards are bromide-free and PVC-free, and the system uses less packaging than in the past. Sounds great! And the price? Not too expensive either! It sells for only $1,799 =) Play the video below for a "firsthand" experience of how Steve Jobs introduced the world's thinnest notebook. And yes, you can EMBED or use this video in your site. Just click the EMBED button on the upper right corner. Enjoy!
